The Al Wadi Waterpark is the first phase of the Al Wadi Hotel and Resort on the shores of the Dead Sea in Jordan. Developed by Sundays International for Tourism Investment, the Wadi name has been licensed from the Jumeirah group of Dubai.
The waterpark has been designed and developed by Aqua Leisure International from the UK, in conjunction with Sundays’ own design team, and offers its guests with breathtaking views across the Dead Sea.
Attractions
include a
wave pool,
lazy river,
interactive
kiddie pool,
multilevel
play
structure,
4-lane
multislide,
family raft
ride, Master
Blaster
uphill water
coaster,
Space Bowl
and
Kamikazee
speed slide.
In the
evening the
park comes
alive with a
25-metre
water screen
projected
from the
wave pool
and a laser
light show
supplied by
LOBO of
Germany. A
wide variety
of food is
available,
including a
variety of
Oriental and
Lebanese
dishes from
two
restaurants.
Al Wadi’s
facilities
also include
one of the
largest
outdoor
wedding/events
venues in
Jordan.
The resort’s
second phase,
including a
luxury hotel
development,
day spa and
family
entertainment
centre, is
currently in
the final
design
stages, with
construction
due to
commence
later this
year. The
resort
opened April
4.
